About me
I'm Chris Childers, founder of BookIt Technologies.
For nearly two decades I worked in manufacturing, moving from the production floor into continuous improvement and leadership roles. Along the way I earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and Information Systems from Catawba College.
I built BookIt because there's real demand for an AI receptionist, but very few have done it well over SMS. Handling a real conversation by text is a different problem than voice. Booking, rescheduling, cancellations, and the edge cases that come with each one are complex to solve well. I wanted to do it for the small businesses who actually need it most.
